MRT adds to offshore range with a new Survitec Wind Energy Immersion Suit

The Survitec 1000 Series 2nd Generation Offshore Wind Energy Suit has been designed and manufactured in the UK, specifically for the offshore renewable energy industry. It provides the ultimate protection for those travelling over water and offers multiple wearer options, with both MED and ETSO approvals for transfers by helicopter or boat. Operators now only need to invest in one transportation survival suit.

Feedback from offshore operators has driven the development of the ultimate survival suit, offering the most advanced comfort and performance technology for the harshest working environment. The suit has been designed using smart fabric and component technology to provide wearer comfort whilst delivering exceptional in-water performance and survivability.

The new Survitec survival suit is also CE-PPE compliant to ISO 15027:2012. Available as an immersion suit with a fully integrated thermal liner or alternatively as an uninsulated (2 hour) suit designed specifically for marine use. A separate thermal liner is available for variable marine and aviation uses when worn with the uninsulated suit to satisfy EASA/ETSO 2C503 Aviation approval. The Marine version can also be provided with optional attached Dunlop Safety boots.

The 1000 Series 2nd Generation Offshore Wind Energy Suit is also available on a rental basis.
